CrewUp Scotland Launches to Support Scotland’s TV & Film Workforce

A new platform designed to connect productions with skilled crew across Scotland has officially launched, with free access currently available for a limited time.

CrewUp Scotland has been created to help support the growing Scottish screen industry by giving crew members and production companies a dedicated place to connect, showcase experience and advertise opportunities.

The platform allows crew members to build professional profiles featuring their experience, job roles, galleries, showreels and IMDb credits, helping productions discover both experienced professionals and emerging talent across Scotland.

Production companies can create production profiles, advertise upcoming projects and post available crew positions directly through the platform, making it easier to connect with people actively looking for work in film and television.

While CrewUp Scotland welcomes all departments within the industry, the platform is placing a strong focus on the construction side of TV and film production — an area that can often be difficult for newcomers to break into.

The launch comes at a time when Scotland continues to attract major productions and international attention, creating growing demand for skilled local crew across film and television.

To help grow the platform and support the industry during its launch phase, CrewUp Scotland is currently offering free access for a limited period to both crew members and productions.

The goal is to create a long-term platform that helps strengthen connections within Scotland’s screen industry while supporting new opportunities for local talent and productions alike.

CrewUp Scotland is now live and open for registrations.
